About
SeRANIS (Seamless Radio Access Networks for Internet of Space) is part of the Center for Digitalization and Technology Research of the German Bundeswehr (dtec.bw), which strategically bundles university research on numerous key and future technologies and seeks new research collaborations with science, industry, administration, and society. dtec.bw is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU. The SeRANIS project is being carried out by the SPACE Research Center at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich (UniBw M) and provides a publicly accessible multifunctional experimental laboratory in orbit. SeRANIS connects research, industry, the Bundeswehr, and society. As the Space Innovation Hub of the German Bundeswehr, SeRANIS is a science platform that makes a fundamental contribution to Germany’s digital sovereignty.
