The policy paper for the Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung addresses Europe’s role in the commercialization of space and the associated geopolitical challenges and opportunities. The focus is on satellite technologies as a decisive factor in Europe’s ability to act.

The authors call for the development of a strategy and technology roadmap to counteract Europe’s increasing technological dependence and declining competitiveness in the space sector.
